Fun Times on Friday Night

Saturday 8th March:
Last night was awesome. We kidnapped a friend and took her to dinner and a movie. We were going to go to our favourite restaurant, but it was full, so we tried another one - that was full too. In the end we got pizza and came back to the house and chatted until it was time to go see the movie ("Jumpers"). It was pretty good, ended kinda abruptly though which seems like they're planning a sequel but we'll just have to wait and see.

Other than that things have been pretty routine around here, cleaning, watching a little tv, playing a little world of warcraft, and spending time with house mates.

Its damn cold outside at the moment. Last night when we came home from the movies it was negative 11 degrees F outside (not sure if that included the wind chill or not). can we say brrr? Not sure what it is outside at the moment, since its only 10am but the driveway is looking slick which isn't going to be too fun when I go out to get the mail. ooh I just checked and its about negative 10 degrees f (which is negative 23 degrees C). According to the weather site its going to warm up...a little by the end of the day, oh and there's meant to be snow! just what Wisconsin is lacking (please note: heavy use of sarcasm, we have about 2-3 feet of snow on the ground already at the moment).

Well I'd better go post this, and start having a tidy up in the lounge and computer room before people start waking up :) Hope everyone has a great day!

I'll have to check out jumper. I want to see it but I haven't been able to decide if I want to pony up the cash for the movie theater or just wait until it comes out on DVD. David and I went to 10000 BC. It wasn't too shabby. He's turned the big 3-0 today, although we celebrated over the weekend. ;-)

I'd probably say wait until it comes out on DVD, its getting ready to finish its run in theaters, besides I prefer watching movies at home - you can keep warm, have good popcorn that doesn't cost an arm and a leg lol.

I wanted to see 10000BC, coincidently that looks like one that would be a lot cooler on the big screen. Happy Birthday to David for his birthday :)
